This Shoe Improved my Squats and Deadlift!
| I've wanted a pair of minimalist shoes for a while now. You wouldn't catch me dead wearing those toe minimalist shoes, but with these stylish kicks I am able to rock them to the gym, on the trail, or even with casual wear. The whole idea with minimalist shoes is to get a natural feel, obviously. Supposedly this strengthens the leg muscles but can also help alleviate pain for some. Right on. |
Arnold always suggested performing the squat and deadlift (leg movements) barefoot and they even now sell weight training shoes.
Why I Love the Bare Access 2
Leaning forward is where most people fail at these lifts and that is the Number 1 reason I love this shoe.
Before I got the Bare Access 2 I was rocking some Nike 6.0 mid or high top (I really don't even know). I preferred those better than my other running shoes because the soles were flat. The problem was that the shoe was heavy.
