When was the last time you set yourself a real goal?
The definition of success is the accomplishment of what you set out to do.
The fact that you own a mansion will demonstrate your wealth but not success.
Look at Hollywood, those people aren't happy.
If you don’t isolate what you want you can never achieve it and thus always be unsuccessful.
This temporary pain will pay dividends that keep serving you for the rest of your life.
They expect compensation from others and fail to provide anything back to the pot. They never get what they want because they already have an excuse lined up before they even begin!
Well that doesn’t work in the gym.
The Gym | Recipe For Success
Any fool can go to the gym every day but a successful person sets a hard, yet realistic goal and masterminds a plan so they can squash it. Then they do it all over again – like it’s a drug.
The successful person will get up an hour early to cook themselves lunch so they don’t have to eat out. The successful person is at the gym at five A.M. when their peers are still fast asleep! The successful person only has three drinks a week while they’re friends have eight.
The burning sensation screaming at you each day in the gym is but a small deposit that will eventually build a better you.
The best part about the gym is that you can’t blame anybody except yourself. There are no excuses to make and you surely can’t expect anybody to do it for you.
That makes the sacrifices that you will make each day worthwhile. You learn to harness and fight through the pain and when it’s all over you will be rewarded with a high unlike any other and the ultimate reward; the body you desire and a winner’s mindset.
That means that what you’ve created is all yours. The sweat, the pain, the early mornings, skipped evenings, angry friends, it was all worth it because the body you’ve manifested is more important to you than any of those things.
The same principles for success in the gym are also true in life.

If you can’t answer that grab a piece of paper and answer the following question;
What do you want most?
After you've decided that what is most important to you write down one thing you can do today to help you get it. Do that every day.
The Japanese term Kaizen suggests improving yourself every day. Grab a dry-erase pen and write “Kaizen” on your mirror so you glance at it daily. If you are not getting better or improving your life you are as good as dead. When you have nothing to live for, you start to die!
Simply by deciding you want something you will naturally start doing things to attract your goals. This is not mystical or magic; it’s simply the law of the universe.
For example, if you consciously decide you want to get shredded, the next time you crave a bowl of cereal you will likely grab an apple or hard-boiled egg instead. You were hungry and thought about cereal, than you thought about what you really wanted (a lean body) and then you acted upon it (made the healthy choice).
Over time these small choices add up and lead to you being successful. Our lives are a garden and like any garden it will grow no matter what. When we tend the garden it is lush, however when allow it to run wild the weeds will take over.
What It Takes To Be Successful
When your friends are family start to question what you are doing because you are sacrificing so much, THAT is when you know you are doing it right. The moment you decide what you want and go for it, people will become jealous and envy you. So many people fail because they are afraid of the hard work that comes along with success.
The gym teaches you to work through and embrace that pain.
