I've always hated brussel sprouts until recently, and my new favorite way to cook them comes from one of John Meadows' ideas.
John Meadows is a genius when it comes to diet and nutrition, and suggested squeezing fresh lemon juice on cooked sprouts.
Wow. I like to steam the brussel sprouts before slicing them into halves, followed by salt and pepper. Simple as that, perhaps the best brussel sprouts you've ever had!
Here's what was on the list;
-Grass Fed Beef Sirloin Tip Steak (small)
-Grass Fed Lamb Shoulder Chop
-Wild Pacific Caught Sockeye Salmon (On Sale - 8.99/lbs) - I got the whole fillet for $10
-Smoked Salmon - I usually don't get this kind and never will - Fishy as Hell!
-Chicken Breasts (3 Pack)
-Grass Fed Butter
-Kimchi (fermented)
-Organic Fed Free Range Eggs - I always try and get pasture raised if possible
-Mixed Potatoes
-Sweet Potatoes
-Lemons
-Asparagus, Onion, Mushroom Saute Mix
